How Do I Set Up Welcome Messages?

Prepare the message first

1. Open Templates.
2. Create a category for Welcome messages.
3. Create one or more welcome templates in that category.

Turn on Welcome settings

1. Open Settings.
2. Find the Welcome settings table.
3. Find the group you want to configure.
4. Choose the Welcome template category.
5. Choose a gift source if the screen offers one and you want a gift included.
6. Check Enabled.
7. Click Save Welcome settings.

Test it

After saving, test with a safe account or controlled signup before relying on it for a large public group.
